Staples Elementary getting solar panel - The Connecticut Post Online: "A solar panel will be installed on Staples Elementary School, provided to the school by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.

Cathy Alfandre, who heads the town's Clean Energy Task Force, said at a recent Board of Education meeting the fund will give the town the 4-kilowatt, 20-by-20-foot solar panel because more than 100 homeowners signed up through their utility bills for clean energy."
