Pollution: Northeast will benefit from change at EPA - NewsTimes.com: "The federal Environmental Protection Agency has been considering a change in regulations that would permit the giant coal-fired power plants in the Midwest to produce more pollution.

These are the same plants that already pollute the Northeast's air through their release of fine particulate matter -- particles that can burrow deep into lungs and damage them. The EPA's own Web site lists the health problems these pollutants cause."
