EcoChick Founder Starre Vartan to speak at Green Drinks in Hartford | Guidezilla: Starre Vartan, founder of Eco-Chick.com and author of the new book, The Eco Chick Guide to Life: How to Be Fabulously Green, is rated one of the top 25 hottest Green Girls by Huffington Post (she's #9).

Join us at the hip, urban bar CRUSH in the Hartford Marriott (942 Columbus Blvd), on Thursday October 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., when Starre will emcee an eco-fashion show with designs from some of the hippest, greenest designers around. She will also tell us about easy, affordable, practical ways eco-conscious consumers can support a sustainable future without skimping on style, comfort or aesthetic appeal.

Hair and makeup for the fashion show will be expertly crafted by Matthew Phillips Salon--Hartford's premeir eco-fabulous salon that uses 97 percent organic and 100 percent animal-friendly Aveda products.

Music for the show is by Shag Frenzy, masters of Hartford's oldest Indie Dance Night.
