Trumbull checks out wind power - The Connecticut Post Online: "TRUMBULL -- When it comes to putting a new spin on ways to control the high cost of energy, the town thinks at least part of the answer may be blowing in the wind.

Town officials are exploring the prospect of obtaining a state grant to erect a wind turbine at Indian Ledge Park or Trumbull High School.

They would like to see Trumbull among the state municipalities selected to showcase the devices arranged by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. New Haven, Kent and Stonington have already been selected for participation, according to fund spokeswoman Emily Smith."
