Thompson Man's Inventions To Be Featured At Green Event -- -- Courant.com: "Mike Dabrowski, who has developed a battery-powered, drop-down wheel for his car that allows him to run around town at 35 mph using stored solar energy, will appear with his solar puppet and special car at an environmental fair sponsored by Democrats in Stafford on Saturday. The event will feature energy-efficient products and tips, films about the environment, student lab demonstrations, art from recycled materials and talks by U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney on his Green School Initiative and Roger Smith from the Connecticut Climate Coalition on the state's response to global warming." Stafford Goes Green, hosted by the Stafford Democratic Town Committee, will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stafford High School.
